Textile Technology

In order to offer a super standard of textile quality, investigations were carried out for the different technologies used for each garment. Simultaneously, we also started to conduct market research with pilots, in which a survey was established. This survey aimed at looking for the particular needs for each garment, and allowed us to know their current shortcomings. This allowed us to create and form a proposal according to their general needs; where we found that pilots were looking for quality, comfort,and  practicality in their fabrics, which allowed them to enjoy their uniform in size and presentation.

Adding all these details, we found the best textiles to accommodate each type of garment, generating the look according to the needs.

For the shirts, which offers versatility by not needing ironing and is quick drying. One for males, which uses 97% cotton and has natural properties for better ventilation.This textile uses antiallergic natural fibers and the remaining 3% in spandex provides stretch for comfort. Finally, one for a light feminine shirt, which was intended to give options and versatility to the feminine line, as this fiber is light and has a very feminine look.

For the men’s pants, we chose a fabric with mechanical stretch, which provides more comfort when sitting for a long time and has anti-fluid technology. If a liquid is spilled on the pants, you can just shake it off and it will not penetrate the fabric. It is also a smooth, unlined material that does not produce itchiness, does not wrinkle, dries easily, and does not require dry cleaning.

We designed the feminine pants using stretch textile. This provides a lot of comfort, since it has the lightness of yoga pants but is heavy enough to give a professional and formal look. This fabric, like the heavy shirt, uses viscose fibers which gives a soft touch sensation and good breathability. If it has a lot of friction, it may cause pilling. This can quickly be removed with a sharp blade and it will be like new again. It is natural for this to occur with this type of fiber, but it is easy to fix. This textile does not wrinkle easily and it is also quick drying.
