One afternoon it occurred to me to pursue the idea of making pilot uniforms for my husband, with a more current pattern and quality of fabrics. I started with the uniform shirts, giving them a touch of comfort in their design and adjusting them with fabrics of different qualities, some mixed with cotton and different technologies. This made them easy to pack, practical, and included more sophisticated designs. Later, I updated the pants as well, using the same creative idea as the shirts.
In mid-December 2020, I met a female Pilot with whom I was able to discuss the issues relating to female uniforms, such as the lack of fashion, sizes and quality of fabrics. Learning about these deficiencies, I realized that it would be ideal to be able to break into this niche market, which has projected significant growth within the Industry for female uniforms aimed at pilots, where these options are currently very scarce.
Given that the garment industry aimed at pilots currently has little elegance and design in its uniforms for these modern times, I realized that it is necessary to update them. Uniforms for pilots should provide the glamor, quality, and design needed to travel in a comfortable, versatile and pleasant way. This would preserve the sense of respect and admiration generated by members of an aircrew.
This was enough reason for our brand to want to provide that touch of elegance and fashion that pilot uniforms used to possess, offering comfort at all times, such as for long trips, weather changes, laundry, packaging and care.
